Customize terminal appearance

Profiles let several hosts share terminal colors and font settings.

Use a profile to choose a terminal color scheme and a readable font size.

Step by step

1. Open the Host List menu

   From the Host List, open the three-dot menu.

2. Open Profiles

   Choose Profiles. Profiles let you reuse terminal appearance settings across hosts.

3. Create a profile

   Tap the plus button and name the new profile something memorable. I'll use 'Readable' in this example.

4. Choose a color scheme

   Under Color Scheme, select Solarized Dark. Terminal colors are independent of the app's light or dark theme.

5. Choose a font size

   Set Font Size to a font size that is comfortable on your screen.

6. Save the profile

   Tap Save, then return to the Host List.

7. Assign the profile to a host

   Edit the host you want to customize, choose Readable under Profile, and save the host.

8. Open the terminal

   The next session for the host will use the colors and font size you chose.
